Day 1: Arrival at Zanzibar Airport (ZNZ) Upon your arrival at Zanzibar Airport, a representative from Kijijini Safari will greet you and provide a brief overview of your itinerary. You will then be driven directly to your accommodation in Nungwi for some rest and relaxation, followed by an overnight stay. Day 2: Full Day - Spice Farm, Prison Island & Stone Town Explore why Zanzibar is known as the Spice Island, feed giant tortoises on Prison Island, and visit notable sites in Stone Town, including the Former Slave Market, Sultan’s Palace, and Freddie Mercury House. Day 3: Half Day - Mnemba Island Dolphins & Snorkeling Visit Mnemba Island off Matemwe beach for some of the best snorkeling in Zanzibar. Fishing is prohibited here, creating a vibrant habitat for colorful fish and marine creatures. The tour starts early in the morning, between 6:30am and 7:30am, the best time to spot dolphins. Day 4: Full Day - Safari Blue Tour (Menai Bay) Spend the day exploring Menai Bay Conservation Area, a premier snorkeling destination. This tour includes visits to Kwale Island, a natural lagoon, and a sandbank, with opportunities to buy souvenirs. Enjoy a seafood BBQ lunch with French fries and rice. Day 5: Blue Lagoon Snorkeling & The Rock Restaurant Snorkel and observe starfish at the Blue Lagoon near The Rock Restaurant on Michamvi Pingwe beach. Day 6: Jozani Forest & Kae Sunset Beach On your final activity day, visit Jozani Forest, home to the unique Red Colobus Monkey, which is found only in Zanzibar.
